So after losing to the Raiders we have to use their color too? This was seemingly impossible; a miserable offseason got worse.

The 49ers fan I work with is livid right now. She just yelled ":censored: the Yorks" throughout the office.

And she has every right to. :censored: them all with a rusty fork.

To be fair, the only choices they had for an alternate, was black or gold. I've always hated it when teams use a throwback as an alternate. It should fit in with the rest of the identity.

I could deal with just a black jersey. But the pants are terrible. How long until they wear them with a red or white jersey?

This is what the idiots on Niners Nation are saying about it. Absolutely cringeworthy.

I am going to wait to see them on the field! ^_^ I then will declare how awful they are but at least they are not using black socks... If they would have at least used the gold in the black uniform it would have made the helmet not out of place...

Horrible. They missed a huge opportunity to introduce a gold jersey.

They also could have chosen "none."

No, gold is just as worse, the only positive it has on it's side is it's actually part of the 49ers color scheme.

Heck, shiny gold jerseys are ugly, just imagine how ugly a matte one would be.

A gold jersey would have been miles better than what they went with. Gold jerseys can work:

It wouldn't have been great. Heck, not even good. But it would have been much better than the all black look.

I agree with everyone who has said that this is ONE OF the worst unis in the NFL today. In my mind only Tampa tops this. J'ville is better. Seattle is better. Cleveland is better. Need I go on?

They didn't even include a gold outline, which would've taken it from its current 1/10 to a 1.5/10.

I... I just...How? How the :censored: is it possible that these are worse than the Bucs and Jaguars? I'd have never believed it before today, but there it is, right in front of me.

I don't think I've ever seen a team fall from grace as hard as the Niners have.

Edit: From what I'm seeing, the internet isn't reacting very well. Much worse than the Browns unveiling.

Hey at least they have red socks and not going with the black leggings look. That's something right?

But still...ewww.
