At least now the white uniform has more cohesiveness than previous years.

However, I still don’t understand how Dallas can have two of the best uniforms in the NFL-

Yet, they think THIS is the best option and would probably wear them for all 16 games if they could-

I dunno, I still really like the traditional white uniforms the best despite it containing elements that would make me dislike a uniform on an another team (mainly the awful pants color and mismatched blues).

But that honestly could just be because I’m so used to it (they’ve essentially had the same home uniform since before I was born) and a personal bias due to the Cowboys being my favorite team.

Personally, the double-star is my least favorite. I wish they would drop navy from their color scheme and use the dark royal that oldschool has been advocating for instead. I really dislike navy, which is probably another reason why I love the standard whites. That royal blue is really vibrant in comparison.

Cowboys - Lakers - LAFC - USMNT - LA Rams - LA Kings - NUFC

Two random things I was wondering about Allegiant Stadium is if the Al Davis flame was real? It kind of looked like it was kind of digital to some extent unlike the smaller one they used in Oakland.

It's digital. If it were real you'd be risking carbon monoxide poisoning to everyone in the stadium. The cost in kerosene would be ridiculous as well.

It's Las Vegas, everything is an oversized facsimile.

That stadium is hideous, by the way. At least the Oakland Coliseum was ugly in a way that didn't cost $2 billion in taxpayer money.

♫ oh yeah, board goes on, long after the thrill of postin' is gone ♫

The money that will hopefully eventually come in from ancillary events , wrestlemania, final 4, concerts, etc... more than make up for that.

Sofi Stadium is about as outdoor as you can get without actually being outdoors. It's still going to get really hot and really cold for the players throughout the year.

Its socal. The only thing to worry about is the random 90+ in September. Otherwise it'll be mid 60s all season.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers To Wear Pewter Color Rush Uniforms Against Denver Broncos

September 23, 2020 - 16:47 PM

As previously noted in their uniform schedule release, the Tampa Bay Buccaneers are set to wear their pewter Color Rush uniforms this weekend against the Denver Broncos. This marks the debut of Tampa Bay’s all-pewter look, which was unveiled in April alongside the Buccaneers’ new home and road uniforms. The

Except that extra revenue never comes close to making up for it. It's nice to think that's the case though.

I’m just pumped the Bucs have a legit alt for once. I’m interested to see how the pewter is going to look as well. I think it could end up being a solid, unique look for them. And even if it’s terrible, this uniform set as a whole is so much better than what it replaced.

It’s a bit odd they’re pulling out the pewter  jersey before the red jersey, too. I’m pretty excited to see how that looks with the updates.

Really nice to see the Jaguars integrating a bit more teal, even if just in the end zones.

Teal just livens their identity up so much, and I wish they'd lean into it even more. I still feel like if they had made their road numbers teal instead of black that it would have made a world of difference on that set (and maybe they could still make that tweak down the road). Here's something quick:

Now just imagine if the Jags took this mock-up and simply added gold accents around the arm trim and numbers. It would liven things up so much more and elevate their set to being really solid instead of needlessly basic.

This alone is still a really great first step though, the lack of teal on the away set is gross.

While we’re on the subject of SoFi, does anyone have insight into how that place works? It’s got a roof but yet isn’t fully enclosed. Are they pumping AC through that building? If not, isn’t it going to get to 100 degrees on a hot day?

Think of it as a modern version of Texas Stadium before they added a layer of suites connecting the stadium to the roof structure but instead of a hole in the roof, its a translucent roof

Coughlin's gone now. So take the basic uniform he wanted and make some small tweaks to make it really good.  Teal at home, gold accents, some pants stripes, and remove the chest logo. done.

Jags with teal end zones tomorrow.

And, naturally, they're wearing teal socks tonight, as even the Martians saw coming from inside the craters on their home planet, so yes, they're definitely (helmet aside) going allteal.
