The Rams wore all yellow in 1948 and these seem to be very similar to those uniforms. I like the Rams' look a lot, but opting to not wear the yellow horns was a huge miss. I'm confused by your statement "...opting to not wear the yellow horns..." They are wearing the yellow horns on the helmets, per usual, and, yellow-on-yellow wouldn't work. Are you suggesting that they wear royal on royal with yellow shoulder horns? While that would be an interesting option, I fail to see how it would be better than this.Yellow is such a unique color in sports, I'm so glad they chose to make yellow the primary for the uniform and I really hope this is a hint into what the Rams could wear full-time in either L.A. or the new St. Louis stadium.I believe he is referring to the throwback helmetThis. If the numbers were outlined in white or there was some sort of white elsewhere on the uniform they would look a lot better. No complaints for the Rams though, as they were exactly what I expected them to be. The Bucs, however... yuck.Agreed. The white pants stripe needs to be balanced with some white on the jersey and some on the socks. With a few tweaks, these are pretty sweet though.I can't believe how superior I find the Bucs uniform to what their currently wear. Less is more. "Of course, that's just my opinion. WavePunter Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 I'd be MUCH happier if the color rush was just to get rid of white.. No white jerseys, no white pants.. ALL COLOR.. That could've been a great tagline and made for some amazing uniforms, not to mention the COLOR VS COLOR matchup it would still offer.. It has gone overboard by the neck-down monochrome.. Even using a secondary color on the socks would help tremendously.. I'm actually a fan of the entire color rush concept and all the uniform elements for the most part.. aawagner011 Posted December 11, 2015 Share Posted December 11, 2015 Haven't seen this addressed yet, but it looks like the Rams are combining the throwback yellow with the current navy blue, rather than royal. Obviously they used the darker helmet in the past but all of the trim on this set is darker than the current throwback.
