Why look good when you can reach out to males ages 16-22, the single dumbest subsection of consumers alive.

They're appealing to the 18-22 year olds on the team. The players are deciding what's "clean" and what's not and that's a big reason why almost every college team looks so ridiculous now

Let me just mention how uncomfortable Washington State's uniforms today make me. White helmet w/ gray logo, white jersey w/ red numbers/lettering, anthracite pants. Absolute mishmash, all because of that little cougar head

*all because of those numbers.

Although, I must say, this combo makes that logo look TERRIBLY small on the helmet

This is why it’s so incredibly stupid we got rid of any gray on the white tops. In an incredibly misguided effort to generate many mix-and-match combos they destroyed any flow the uni has from top to bottom. And as a bonus we now have incredibly boring unis that you couldn’t tell apart from Stanford if you were just flipping through the channels quickly.

It's really a shame that Arizona St took what was once a cool and coherent identity and just completely driven it into the dirt over the past several years. Pretty much the entire appeal is the combo of maroon and gold, so why take away your main color? It makes the cool pitchfork logo pretty impossible to see.

It’s definitely an Adidas driven thing. This particular logo package was designed for the school by Nike, and ever since they switched over suppliers they’ve done some really head scratching things. Some of it has looked better than others (The throwbacks are basically all great, and one or two of the copper looks have been good), but the rest of it can go in the dumpster as far as I’m concerned.

The helmet stickers were almost invisible on TV and if I wasn't aware it was there I would have wondered why they didn't put decals on the helmets yesterday.

Bama v Notre Dame

Clemson v Ohio State

My guess is home crimson v gold/white/gold AND all-orange v white throwback stripes (though I could see the team trying to avoid the bad juju).

As a Buckeyes fan I'm unfortunately prepared for a similar result.

Just imagine how dumb it'd be if Notre Dame beat Bama only to play Clemson a third time.

As much as I love the throwback stripes I hope osu goes regular. 0/2 against Clemson in the throwbacks and 0/3 against Clemson in alternate jerseys.

I wonder if Nike will do anything other than the diamond swoosh this year anyways. I just don't want to see Ohio State wear white pants.

Myrtle Beach Bowl. North Texas and App State not wearing a bowl patch and the field is not changed, except for the correct Sun Belt logos now. I think we'll see this at a few bowls due to last second changes to some of the lineups.

Outside of the field, it isn't a bad looking game.

Coastal’s field looks great under the lights, but in daylight? Not so much...

Disagree on Coastal's field looking great under any circumstances. The field looks like old-school Astroturf (or various knock-offs), which is not a good thing.

Given the positive reception they got despite the loss in them and given that most fans hate the current uniforms, it wouldn't surprise me if this is the direction they're going in.

Obviously eleven months on, this hasn't aged well. Hopefully the change in coaching means that my speculation was right but my timing was off.

Mighty Ducks of Anaheim (CHL - 2018 Orr Cup Champions) Chicago Rivermen (UBA/WBL - 2014, 2015, 2017 Intercontinental Cup Champions)

King's Own Hexham FC (BIP - 2022 Saint's Cup Champions) Portland Explorers (EFL - Elite Bowl XIX Champions) Real San Diego (UPL) Red Bull Seattle (ULL - 2018, 2019, 2020 Gait Cup Champions) Vancouver Huskies (CL)

I don't like Coastal's field. I just like it better than the other non-standard colored fields.

It always reminds me of NCAA Football 2003's artificial turf which is harder to find pictures of than I expected.
