For all the bird de lis haters I think the bird de lis isnt supposed to be a pelican and a fleur de lis I think its just a fleur de lis with a pelicans head. Thats what it looks like to me. Also the flair around the tip of the beak is just flair that fleur de lis have sometimes source I am from NOLA.

Is it just me or is BASEBALL not centered?

I think It’s technically centered, but looks odd because L’s don’t have two down strokes.  It’d look normal if it said BASEBALB.

It looks like a line from the top of the diamond to the bottom would split the eight letters perfectly.

Smart is believing half of what you hear. Genius is knowing which half.

You missed the best part; a raccoon playing... golf?

The eyes on their new cap logo glow in the dark.

Went to a few Hudson Valley games this past year. The old logo definitely had a 'kids club' feel to it. Really like the new primary and keeping the HV with the tail. The secondary homeplate logo is a nice logo for the area.

Not liking the homeplate HV logo, though. Feels too unfinished. Like something's missing. It's blocky, and the alternating stripe effect just doesn't work across the entire background.

So, if the Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp and Augusta Green Jackets are any indication, Brandiose has a new staple image in their minor-league design portfolio. In addition to their now well-known "mascot-swinging-an-object-like-a-baseball-bat" design, they've added the "steroid-enhanced-mascot-doing-ab-crunches".

I'm surprised they didn't design the "A" with the crossbar stroke and wings going in the opposite direction. That way, it would have looked a bit like a 4, a homonym for "Fore!", which would have tied into the Green Jackets' golf-themed name. That would have been so Brandiose.

Well the "mascot-element-forced-into-a-monogram" is their favorite.

Pretty sure every team they've done has at least one or two different variations of that.

The plaid hat is a mess so near those compound eyes.

Just too many patterns - the hat, the eyes, the wings...

I liked the previous logo better.
