Gothamite
With Black pants and a solid black helmet this would actually be great. Well, and ditch the random white (number) blocks.Sure, these would be great throwback uniforms, if you just changed everything that makes them resemble the original 1934 uniforms. Chawls
These are so hideous that they're likeable.Pretty much my reaction. For one-offs, I love jerseys like this, as well as the Maryland flag jerseys et al. Quote If you hadn't noticed, Chawls loves his wrestling, whether it be real life or sim. crashcarson15
To be honest, I think a team in the NFL today could actually rock horizontal stripes, vertical stripes, or a sash. Preferably a newer team with two primary colors close to each other (maybe the Texans?) could make it work.
waltere
There's something fantastically horrible, or should that be horribly fantastic, about these. Everything says I should hate them, but dammit if I don't 1 hour ago, BringBackTheVet said: sorry sweetie, but I don't suck minor-league d CCSLC Post of the day September 3rd 2012

Fresno St. Alum
I can see it now, Georgia Tech pro combat(Yellow Jacket jersey=Steelers 1934) Except the black would be navy blue.

DC in Da House w/o a Doubt
Eh, it's only for a game. So it's hard for me to get worked up either way. They aren't as bad as that Broncos throwback, that's for sure.

BBTV
Hey they took a chance, and good for them. It's fun, and far superior than a batwing throwback would have been. The one they wore in '94 would have been nice too, but this is so different than anything we've seen on a modern template that I think it's great (except for the helmets.)If I was the Steelers (or the NFL), my concern would be in the merchandising opportunities (or lack thereof.) With the way replicas are cut, there's going to be a lot of stripes on them, especially the sleeves. I can't picture anyone other than hardcore collectors buying these. I certainly can't picture people who wear jerseys walking around casually in these things. It's unfortunate that those are the kinds of things that they probably think about when they design these things, but it's fortunate that they decided that the money wasn't as important as the sentiment.
