In the future I definitely would love to see something similar, but with a updated front crest that's not so dated. I forgot how much I liked the Florida shoulder patch too. I would have preferred them wearing blue helmets instead of black and bringing in proper black/blue/white gloves like they used to wear to match with this set. I don't know how much of that is down to nostalgia - I know a lot of it is but I don't think all of it is. It's much less of a corporate looking mark which their new one is, and more of an old fashioned sports team logo, as dated as it may be. It just evokes more of a classic aesthetic - imperfections, odd choices and all. I would vote that they went back to it, and made the blue version a permanent 3rd or something. Not sure why so many people are saying it's a bad logo. Better than the generic clip art one they have no and the Edge era logo looks dated as hell now, worse than the original one imo. wildwing64 Posted February 6, 2021 Share Posted February 6, 2021 I like the Jets Reverse Retro more than I expected, even though I never particularly liked the jersey it's based on. Might've look better in Aviator Blue instead of grey. The Ducks and Knights had to reschedule their February 26th game for April 23rd, so we won't be seeing Wild Wing until the April 9th game against the Avs. Also, those are the only times it will be worn this season.
